Here the staff is king! The café makes it bio-noble, but you can tell from all the dealings and the inappropriately high prices that someone here is taking the chance to rip off tourists.

At first we had doubts whether we should stop in the somewhat inconspicuous café. Afterwards we were absolutely thrilled. Everything was delicious: fresh waffles, open sandwiches and grilled bread. We even took a supply of the cheese cakes with us. The prices are typical of the island and the staff are friendly to funny.

Tasty organic products, beef sausages, cheese, sweet spreads and more. In addition, very tasty cakes and bistro offers. Friendly staff.

Great idea this aunt Hedwig, especially open on Sundays. Tasted delicious cake, coffee and a smiling, friendly waitress behind the counter.

Great atmosphere, very tasty coffee and cake, there is also breakfast and regional products to buy. Unfortunately the staff was overwhelmed. Maybe that's why it didn't seem particularly friendly. Just one person at the counter was apparently not enough to serve all of them quickly - you had to stand in line for a long time. Many did not want to wait and left.

Food overpriced. It took a long time to prepare a sandwich and the third person got their meal when the others were done. Price performance is not right at all.

Completely overpriced and a small breakfast selection (no eggs and only one kind of salami sausage, poppy seed rolls rock hard) Furthermore, completely unorganized process, long queue because all customers are served one after the other, even those who only want to buy rolls to take away. If you were to separate that it would go much faster. A huge compliment to the wait staff! Very polite and hardworking !!!

The breakfast is delicious here and even the small one is enough for two. Definitely come back here on your next visit.

A highlight of our Hiddensee day tour: for breakfast the small sausage and cheese platter, for which we plastered four rolls and then nibbled on a small selection of cakes in the afternoon. Everything was very tasty!

Arrived here on a rainy afternoon instead of walking another hour south to Neuendorf to the next ferry terminal on Hiddensee. Ordered espresso (2€) and walnut Brownie. Coffee was brewed by digital machine and although not piping hot, had a good smooth taste. Brownie portions size was a bit small for the price (2.90€), but big on flavour - dense bottom with dark chocolate and chunky, less dense top with caramel sandwiched between and topped with dark chocolate drizzle and chopped walnuts. Atmosphere is tidy, quiet (no music) and hushed voices. Counter server was warm and not overly jubilant. Store also sells local products, such as honey, seabuckthorn liquor and juice, bottled wine, meat and cheese.
